The short story novel, "The cat called Mari." No9 by Seiji Ninomiya

December 1941, At last The War began. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.
Johnson family came back U.S.at that time.
Ken went to school in Hiroshima every day. and He took care of Mari.
Mari was tame ken and his family ,neibors in Miyahara town Kure city Hiroshima Prefecture.
Kure city was Japanese Navy's town. Kure was the key point of Japan.
Mari's daily foofs changed competely.But, she was't suffering from that at all.
"When is the war end ?" Ken said to himself in his heart.
"U.S. has strong power. Japanese people know that." He also said to himself.
"Mari wants to say to meet again if she speaks languge." He thougt.
"Mari ,you must live many many years." He said to Mari.
"Mew,Mew" She answered.
