The first job of people in Kure after the war was cleaning up their town.
Ken's daily work was cleaning up his school in Hiroshima.
Hiroshima became hell on earth at that time.
After school came back Kure city, Ken participated Miyahara town Kure city clean up.
It's was't easy job for Ken to participate.
But. He said to himseff, "I must live longer and longer for my classmates."
Because, his all classmates wre dead.
People of arround Ken spent hard days. But they have the big powre. They believed Japan's tomorrow.
They said to Mari, "Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening."
They knew Mari's power. She was very popular among them.
She was also the simbol of Kure cities recover.
